The Three Mile Cross Church Centre, run by the South of Reading Christian Fellowship, had been relying on a basic, domestic style kitchen for it’s catering.
However, when it became apparent that this wasn’t sufficient to cope with ever increasing demands on the kitchen’s capabilities, the decision was taken to upgrade to a commercial catering kitchen and Nelson Catering Equipment was commissioned.
We were able to help on several different levels – listening carefully to what the team wanted and translating their ideas into a very clean, workable design that not only embraced all their requirements but satisfied every aspect of the necessary legislation.

We provided a fast and efficient service and worked to their allotted budget. On completion, we provided training to ensure that everybody was completely familiar with the new equipment.
Since installation, the team has started to cater for much larger numbers including two, 100 cover events with more planned and they have even been able to run cooking lessons for the children from the associated Christian school.
